On the threshold of the new season, we will talk about a topic that is often quite underestimated, but is very important for the proper running of the work process.

We have all happened, when sharing how we feel, to be underestimated and hear one of the following phrases: "don't excuse laziness with spring fatigue", "I have spring fatigue all year round" and so on, and this is extremely unpleasant. Therefore, in this short article we will talk about it – the spring fatigue - what it is, what are its symptoms and how to deal with it easily.

Of course, we do not find hot water and there is plenty of information on the Internet, but here we present the necessary, synthesized and summarized.

What is "Spring Fatigue" - It is a common physiological condition that many people experience during the spring season.

It represents a change in the body's functions during the transition from winter to spring. Our body needs time to adapt to the new season.

This change is mostly related to the uneven balance of hormones that naturally occurs at the end of winter - decreased serotonin /also known as the hormone of happiness/ and higher levels of melatonin /the hormone of sleep/. It is because of this imbalance that we feel sleepy, melancholic, dropped and demotivated.

Here are some of the most prominent symptoms of spring fatigue:

  • Feeling of weakness and tiredness;
  • Dizziness, vertigo;
  • Drowsiness and frequent yawning;
  • Low mood and change in appetite.

Attention! We should not confuse these symptoms with a possible cold or illness. In a state of spring fatigue, these sensations pass within 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the body of a person /everything is strictly individual, of course/.

In the presence of flu-like symptoms, it is good to consult a specialist.

Here are some tips on what we can do to make it easier and more pleasant to go through this otherwise rather unpleasant condition.

  • Balanced nutrition;
  • Sufficient quality sleep;
  • Take more frequent breaks;
  • Do not overdo it with coffee and stimulant drinks;
  • Detox your body!
